ABOUT

My name is Yacine EL MAHDI. I was born and raised in Algiers, Algeria and currently reside in Quebec, Canada. I have studied computer science and obtained a diploma as a Higher Technician in Computer Science with a specialization in databases.

I spent quite a lot of time learning on my own and completed online courses, so I'd say I'm mostly self-taught which surprisingly led me to begin my career as an IT engineer. Plus, I enjoy coding as a hobby and wouldn't mind pursuing it professionally.

I consider myself versatile in the field of computer science, I appreciate how it demands for continuous learning which genuinely keeps me engaged.

Regarding this website, it consists solely of a static HTML webpage. The articles on my blog are written in markdown format and rendered using zero-md. The terminal section is an old project I developed during idle moments at work, It's essentially a small Linux terminal emulator built entirely with JavaScript.
